BERTSCH celebrates over 9 decades of company history.

1925
Establishment of the parent company by master coppersmith Josef Bertsch.
1931
Apparatus construction for the beverage industry and food processing.
1934
Production is carried out in the new production facility on the site of the present headquarters.
1948
Transporting a boiler column by train from Bludenz.
1952
Development of the three-pass boiler.
1956
The first steam generator.
1959
Senator Dr. Josef Bertsch takes over the company from his father and becomes the sole owner in 2nd generation.
1962
The first water tube high-pressure steam boilers are built.
1965
Upgrading the Bludenz headquarters.
1965
Opening of the Vienna sales office. Construction of anew production facility in Linz.
1970
Expanding capacity with the production facility in Bludenz/Nüziders.
1980
Austrian state emblem awarded to Senator Dr. Josef Bertsch.
1984
First product storage tanks.
1985
Developing the BERTSCH cheese vat.
1990
Double-flue three pass boiler.
1994
Founding of BERTSCHlaska Produktions- und Handels GmbH with sales offices in several countries in Eastern Europe.

The first BERTSCH HRSG plant.

Ing. Hubert Bertsch takes over Bertsch Holding GmbH from his father as the sole owner in 3rd generation.

Innovation of waste heat recovery and waste heat technology using modular systems. Biomass heating plant in Augsburg.

Founding BERTSCHenergy Germany: plant and pipeline construction.

BERTSCHfoodtec builds a complete cheese facility in Kobrin, Belarus.
