The Choir of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is a professional choir, founded in 1964. It is a part of the Institute of Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The choir specializes in performing a cappella and choral-instrumental music, including works from various musical genres and styles, as well as contemporary and folk compositions. The Choir is known for its high artistic level, unique vocal sound, and diverse repertoire. It regularly performs at various cultural events, concerts, and festivals in Belarus and abroad. The choir has won numerous awards and recognitions in international competitions, including the Grand Prix at the International Choral Competition in Marktoberdorf, Germany. The Choir's artistic director and conductor is Sergei Kondratyuk, who is also a renowned composer and pedagogue. The choir consists of 28 professional singers, who are selected through a rigorous audition process. The Choir's mission is to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Belarus through music, as well as to inspire and educate audiences with its performances.
