--- The web project "Idea.by" is the main page of the Minsk Experimental Private Unitary Enterprise "Idea," established on August 15, 1989. The enterprise specializes in the following areas: manufacturing contact networks and spare parts for trolleybuses, trams, and railway transport; producing spare parts for agricultural equipment; casting complex metal parts using precise vacuum casting; and manufacturing metal parts using hot and cold forging. The enterprise does not only produce raw castings but also finished products that require only finishing operations. The company has a branch dealing with fish farming and agrotourism. Idea is a major shareholder of various companies and banks. In 2008, a precision metal casting plant was commissioned at the enterprise.
