The web project "LMS.GRSU.BY" is a scientific research laboratory for molecular spectroscopy and nanophotonics. It is a part of the General Physics Department at the Grodno State University named after Jan Kupala. The laboratory focuses on the application of metal and semiconductor nanoparticles for diagnostic purposes in biology and medicine, as well as on the use of colloidal nanoparticles from noble metals (Ag, Au) and luminescent semiconductor nanocrystals as contrast agents in optical microscopy. The laboratory also conducts research on giant resonance (GR) effects of biologically active molecules, the development of GR-active substrates based on silver-coated thin films, and the study of photoinduced TICT (twisting intramolecular charge transfer) processes in molecular rotors using methods of quantum chemistry,
