This website is the homepage of the Molecular Spectroscopy and Nanophotonics Laboratory at the Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala. The laboratory is part of the General Physics Department on the Physico-Technical Faculty. The main research areas include the application of metallic and semiconductor nanoparticles for diagnostic purposes in biology and medicine, giant resonance effects of biologically active molecules, and photinduced TICT processes in molecular rotors. The laboratory also has significant experience in kinetic fluorometry of dyes, proteins, and nanoparticles. Programs have been developed for analyzing fluorescence decay curves using the Levenberg-Marquardt method, both with and without a priori assumptions regarding the decay function.
