The web project Boost is a website dedicated to the open-source Boost C++ Libraries. The Boost libraries are a collection of portable, high-quality, and free software components, designed to be reliable, skillfully-designed, and well-tested. The mission of the project is to develop and promote these libraries, inspiring standard enhancements and advancing software development best practices through community engagement, nurturing leaders, providing necessary financial/legal support, and making directional decisions. The website offers a user guide, a contributor guide, formal reviews, and the latest release download for users. The Boost community consists of over 10 million total downloads and 165 individual libraries. The website provides a schedule of events for the release of new versions and updates.
