This website is a digital database of rare and valuable documents, primarily books, from the collections of Brest Region residents. It is an corporate project of the Brest Oblast Library named after M. Gorky, supported by the Culture Management of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee. The database includes bibliographic descriptions, book annotations, and ownership bookplates among other information, from the holdings of regional and public libraries, libraries of higher educational institutions, and museums within the system of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, located in the Brest Oblast area. The resource is of interest to book collectors, historians, local historians, librarians, and specialists in the fields of book history, book trade, world history, and Belarusian history.
