Alan White – Time is of the Essence

Born in Pelton, County Durham, in 1949, Alan's musical journey began at a young age with piano lessons at six and drumming at twelve. He gained experience performing with various bands throughout the 1960s, including The Downbeats, Billy Fury, and Ginger Baker’s Airforce. In 1969, Alan joined the Plastic Ono Band after receiving a call from John Lennon himself. Alan's collaboration with Lennon resulted in iconic albums like 'Live Peace in Toronto' and 'Imagine', where he contributed to tracks such as 'Instant Karma' and 'Imagine'. Alan's work with Lennon also led him to collaborate with George Harrison on 'All Things Must Pass'. Alan passed away
