The center, which was established in 1990, has undergone several name changes over the years, including a pansiyat (boarding house) with treatment named "Romantica" in 2002, and in 2006, it became the "Children's Rehabilitation and Health Resort Center Romantica." In 2017, it was reorganized as a communal municipal enterprise providing services, named "Children's Rehabilitation and Health Resort Center Romantica Lux." The organization was certified as a first-category sanatorium-resort organization for children in 2021,
