The main principle of Aikido involves using an opponent's momentum against them, disrupting their balance, and creating an uncomfortable position that prevents them from focusing their strength in one point. We not only teach the techniques of the moves but also the conditions under which any action becomes maximally effective. By creating a realistic attack on the tatami, people learn Aikido techniques in conditions closely resembling reality, enhancing their effective application outside the dojo.
