This enterprise is the Students' Town of the Belarusian State University (BSU). It is a division of the university aimed at providing accommodation for out-of-town students, master's candidates, doctoral candidates, and university staff. The Students' Town was established to address the housing needs of the growing student population and faculty. The university was founded in 1919, but its establishment was delayed due to the temporary occupation of Minsk by Polish forces. The complex of university buildings is located between the Train Station Square and Independence Square in Minsk. By 1930, the university had published 25 issues of its academic works and several monographs.
