The business: The Fond Sotsialnoj Zashchity Naseleniya, or the Social Protection Fund for the Population of the First of May District of Minsk, is a state-funded organization established in 1993 to perfect the system of financing state social security. It collects and accumulates state social security contributions and manages them according to the law, funding the payment of state pensions, benefits, and other benefits, as well as covering costs for sanatorium-resort treatment and population health improvement in Belarus.
