The organization Sukhoi is a Belarusian company with a rich history. It was founded by Pavel Osipovich Sukhoi, a Soviet Belarusian aeronautical engineer and doctor of technical sciences. Born in the village of Glubokoye in the Vilna Governorate in 1895, Sukhoi grew up in a poor peasant family. He was not drafted to the front during World War I as he did not yet reach the conscription age. In 1915, Sukhoi enrolled in the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute. Today, the company is known for producing divers' suits and concrete strengtheners. The divers' suit "Sukhoi Seemann Challenger" features a quick-donning system and removable cuffs.
