The organization, named Секретариат ПАЛАТЫ Представителей (Secretariat of the Palaty of Representatives), is a legal entity operating under the current regulations. It has a seal bearing the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and its name. The Secretariat of the Palaty of Representatives is responsible for organizing, informational-analytical, legal, material-technical and other support for sessions of the Palaty of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and its Council. The organization also implements the instructions and orders of the Chairman of the Palaty of Representatives and his deputies. It was created on March 27, 2007, as a primary organization of the Belarusian Republican Union of Lawyers in the Palaty of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
