This enterprise, МИНСКИЙ ЧАСОВОЙ ЗАВОД ОАО (Minskij Chasovoj Zavod OAO), is the largest watch producer in Belarus and the region of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The history of the Open Joint Stock Company "Minsk Watch Factory" began in 1953 when the decision was made to construct the factory. It marked the start of the development of the watch industry in Belarus. The company manufactures and sells watches, both domestically and internationally, including those with gold cases and mechanisms from Switzerland.
