The organization: The National Center of Intellectual Property (further referred to as the National Center) is a Belarusian institution responsible for protecting intellectual property rights and performing certain functions as a patent office, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus. The Center operates from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00, with a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00. Preliminary expertise is carried out under the following conditions: payment of the application fee; submission of translated documents in either Belarusian or Russian, if they are drafted in another language; and submission of a power of attorney (if required). During the preliminary expertise process, the following are checked: the correct payment of established fees, the evident relationship of the claimed solution to objects that can be recognized as inventions, the presence and correct formatting of documents
