This enterprise is the United Civil Party (ОБЪЕДИНЕННАЯ ГРАЖДАНСКАЯ ПАРТИЯ), a political organization founded on October 1, 1995, through the merger of the United Democratic Party of Belarus and the Civil Party. It is of liberal-conservative orientation and welcomes Belarusian citizens who prioritize human rights over state interests. The party, which has its headquarters in Zhodino, proposed an "alternative political path" in the 1990s, advocating for a democratic state, a safe country, and responsible governance. The party's representatives have not been elected to the National Assembly since its formation in 1996.
