This enterprise, Минский станкостроительный завод УП МЗОR, is a large Belarusian manufacturer of metalworking and balancing equipment. Specialists at this plant have been pioneers in innovations in the machinery industry for over a century. Founded in 1908 by local entrepreneurs as a foundry and metalworking enterprise, it was transformed into Минское станкостроительное производственное объединение in 1976. Currently, UП МЗОР produces heavy multifunctional metal-cutting machines and machining centers equipped with CNC, CAM and CAD systems for various industries. The first such machine was manufactured at this plant.
