ГРОДНЕНСКИЙ ЗООПАРК

The business, Grodneskij Zoopark, is the first zoo in Belarus, located in the city of Grodno. It was established in 1927 by Professor Yan Kohanovsky, who organized a live corner in the local gymnasium. The zoo covers an area of 3.4 hectares and houses over 3,400 animals and birds from 312 different species. The popularity of the zoo led to the creation of a mobile branch in May 1948.
