The organization: The National Scientific and Practical Center for Mechanization of Agriculture under the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. It acts as a link between agricultural machinery production and agriculture. The center's activities include research, development, testing and implementation of machinery and equipment for various agricultural sectors. The center also cooperates with domestic and foreign organizations to create joint projects. In 2009, the center planned to establish a joint production of flax harvesting machines with the French company Dehondt. The center also conducts research in the fields of potato and fruit and vegetable cultivation.
