The structure of these institutions, which were typically low-rise, consisted of separate functional zones and groups of rooms. They organized special camps and seminars for group leaders. The work of these leaders was widely covered in the journal "Vozhdy" and youth, educational, and other publications. The House of Pioneers and Schoolchildren interacted with the Komsomol and Pioneer organizations, schools, and vocational and higher educational institutions.
