The organization is a Russian historical figure, Vasily III Ivanovich, also known as Vasilij, born on March 25, 1479, the son of Ivan III the Great and Sophia Palaiologos. He became the Grand Prince of Moscow from 1505 to 1533 and was the father of Ivan the Terrible. Vasily III is also associated with certain prophecies and events, such as a prediction about the 2009 year and a fire that started near the Vozdvizhensky Monastery on Osterog in 1547.
