The business МУГ, also known as Moog, is a Belarusian enterprise with a long history in the production of automobile parts and, more recently, in the sale of appliances such as refrigerators. The company was founded in 1919 by brothers Alva and Hubert P. Moog, who initially focused on manufacturing leaf springs. Moog's early success led to the expansion of their product line and the establishment of a reputation for quality automotive parts. Although best known for its contributions to the automobile industry, Moog also entered the appliance market, selling refrigerators in Belarus. The origins of Moog can be traced back to the United States, where Robert A. Moog, a pioneer in electronic music, invented the Moog synthesizer in the late 1960s.
