The organization, Минский Моторный Завод OAO (Minsk Motor Plant Open Joint Stock Company), is the largest enterprise in Belarus and a leading producer of modern diesel engines. The company started manufacturing new products in 2007, and a factory for producing and supplying parts began operations in Stolbцы on July 31, 1993. Minsk Motor Plant also has a foundry for aluminum casting and employs three methods for producing aluminum molds. The company's Trade House is a separate private enterprise wholly owned by Minsk Motor Plant OAO.
