This enterprise is the State Expert-Criminalistic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus (GEKTS MVD RB), which is accredited as an Organization for the Certification of Weapons, Ammunition, and Self-Defense Equipment. The center carries out certification processes and conducts certification tests for the products. It also performs financial operations, accounting, and reporting within its jurisdiction. The organization was established in 1997 and is responsible for the certification of weapons, ammunition, and self-defense equipment. Sources indicate that the certification process includes several stages, including product evaluation, testing, and identification in certification organizations and/or the State Expert-Criminalistic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus. The certification of batches of cold and projectile weapons is done for the purpose of their subsequent import.
