This enterprise is the telecommunications branch of the Novogrudok District in Belarus. It is one of the 25 communication offices under the Novogrudsky Regional Post and Telecommunications Enterprise "Grodnooblposta". The district includes the villages of Valevka and Yatra, and there are educational institutions and a health center located there. The region has 263 retail entities. The social-economic development program for Novogrudok District on 2006-2010 included expanding and modernizing communication infrastructure, resulting in an expanded telephone network for the region. A maternity ward at the Novogrudsky Central District Hospital recently held a housewarming ceremony. In 2008, the former head of the village council in Novogrudok District was accused of embezzling housing funds worth Br2.9 billion.
