The organization "ЖЭУ" (JEU) is a communal utility company in Belarus, with six operational units focusing on the exploitation and maintenance of residential properties. It operates in Mogilev and the Central district of Homiel. The company manages 39 residential buildings in Mogilev, and its premises house the city's justice administration, a polyclinic, and other facilities. In Homiel, the Central district's utility company, KЖРЭУП, offers services related to communal payments and document issuance for JEU's units 1, 3, 4, and 8. JEU and its shareholders offer housing options, and the choice between a JEU unit and a shareholder cooperative remains a common dilemma for many families. JEU and similar organizations were originally established to manage the state-
