This enterprise is the Management of Architecture, Construction and Territorial Planning of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee. It is a structural unit of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee and is responsible for the methodical guidance of the activities of the architectural, construction and territorial planning (land use) units in the regional, city executive commitittees. The enterprise specializes in territorial planning, construction and architecture in the Grodno region. It is involved in scientific research, the development of state programs aimed at solving major problems of territorial development, architecture and construction, and the control of their implementation. The term "territorial planning" refers to planning on a larger scale with less detail than urban planning, which is often used synonymously with urban planning in Russian science. The enterprise participates in the legislative process related to construction, architecture and urban planning.
