This enterprise is the Representative Office of the International Organization on Migration (IOM) in Belarus. The organization, founded in 1 947 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, is an intergovernmental body with 127 member states and 17 observer states. Its main objectives include providing services and expert advice concerning migration, facilitating international cooperation on migration issues, and promoting humane and orderly migration. The IOM Belarus Office, headed by Alexander Nikolaevich Kapirovsky, has been active in Belarus since 1994 and has cooperated with the organization on various projects related to migration issues. The IOM has been a key player in addressing migration challenges both globally and in Belarus.
