Central Park of Culture and Leisure (Central Park of Culture and Rest, commonly known as Gorky Park) is a large urban park located on the Moskva River embankment in Moscow, Russia. Established in 1928, the park covers an area of 100 hectares. The park was designed by a team of architects led by LenCorr and includes several notable structures, such as the Rossiya Hotel, the Sculpture Pavilion, the Ferris Wheel, and the Central Pavilion. It is named after Maxim Gorky, a prominent Soviet writer. The park is known for its various facilities, including open-air concerts, exhibitions, sports grounds, a skate park, a fountain show, and a beach volleyball court. The park attracts millions of visitors every year.
