This site is a research center for physical and chemical methods, known as the Center for Physical and Chemical Methods of Research (Центр физико-химических меthодов исследования, ЦФХМИ). The center was established in 1989 to effectively and rationally utilize expensive and unique scientific equipment, and to create suitable conditions for enhancing the efficiency of scientific research and the preparation of engineering and specialist personnel of higher qualification. The center consists of 8 laboratories, housing over 30 units of expensive and unique scientific equipment, more than half of which are modern research-grade instruments from leading world manufacturers. Many of these instruments are unique in the Republic of Belarus.
