The organization "Рослеспром" is a Russian state-owned forestry and timber company, whose name translates to "Russian State Forest Industry Company." The company has a long history and has undergone various restructurings. In the early 1990s, it was a command-administrative organization, but it quickly evolved and received ownership from the State Property Committee in January 1994. The company's head, Miron Tatsun, is one of the largest individual shareholders. In July 2010, Dmitry Demyanov was appointed as the chairman of "Рослеспром," replacing him from his previous position as head of the government. The company has been tasked with carrying out the role of a general contractor for the development and implementation of federal programs, as well as producing and supplying timber. The company was established
