The business: The National Library of Belarus, also known as Biblioteka Belarusi Natsionalnaya, is a state institution located in the eastern part of Minsk, the capital city of Belarus. The new building of the National Library of Belarus, which stands 73.6 meters tall and weighs 115,000 tons, houses extensive collections and archives. The library grants intranet access to its databases for users from the Administration of the President, the Parliament, the Council of Ministers, and the National Assembly of Belarus. The Belarusian Library Association, which held a roundtable discussion on the ethics and law of intellectual property and access to information in preserving cultural and spiritual heritage, is also affiliated with the National Library.
