СУ-152__

This company, named СУ-152__, is a Soviet heavy self-propelled artillery installation (САУ) that was produced during World War II. It was built on the chassis of the heavy tank КВ-1с and was armed with a powerful 152-mm howitzer-gun MЛ-20С. The production of this self-propelled artillery installation started in 1943 after the successful launch of heavy tanks of the "ИС" series. The internal view of the СУ-152 is depicted in the photograph taken by Major Sankovsky in Kursk, July 1943. This self-propelled artillery installation was one of the most powerful and effective weapons of the Second World War, with production continuing until 1948 and then being resumed in Czechoslovakia.
