This company, Белорусский Конгресс демократических профсоюзов Ассоциация (BDCPA), was established in 2009 as part of the ongoing efforts to address the systematic violation of citizens' rights in Belarus. The association aims to bring awareness to these issues within the Belarusian and international communities. In the same year, the Association of Profsouzov (association of trade unions) of the Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions (BDCP) was also created. The Belarusian Independent Labor Union (REP), however, paused its decision to join the BDCP, as stated in a letter to the delegates of the upcoming BDCP congress. Additionally, the BDCP was among the potential candidates for the "ten" seats in the European Parliament's "Freedom" movement, registered
