Established in 1939, it was initially named Oshmyanskyi and was based on the lands of former landlords and state property. The organization is headquartered in the village of Krevo, Smorgon District, in the Grodno region. The state forest area under its management covers 17,833 hectares and is divided into two forestry units: Shepelevichskoe and Kruchanokoe.
