Реализация Стокгольмской конвенции о стойких органических загрязнителях в Республике Беларусь

The web project "Popsbelarus.by" is dedicated to the implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in the Republic of Belarus. The site aims to provide information to government bodies, research institutions, enterprises and organizations, and the public about POPs, their impact on human health and the environment, the situation in Belarus, regulations for safe handling of POPs, modern technologies and methods for the destruction and reduction of POPs emissions into the environment, and measures taken in Belarus to address the POPs problem. The site was created as part of a project funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). It features sections on POPs, their impact, publications, photo and video galleries, and public organizations. The site also provides contact information.
