The Otrraslovaia Laboratory "Nauchno-Issledovatel'skii Tsentr Innovatsii v Stroitel'stve" (OL NICIS) is a structural unit of the Brest State Technical University (BGTU) named after D.I. Mendeleev. The laboratory was established in 2000 by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus to carry out scientific-research, project-construction, and experimental-construction activities in the field of construction and engineering systems, to ensure the integration of scientific research into the production process, and to prepare highly qualified specialists in construction. OL NICIS provides scientific and technical support to construction industry enterprises engaged in designing, manufacturing, and installing buildings and structures, as well as conducting research in the application of innovative technologies and materials in construction. The laboratory consists of several research groups, each focusing on solving specific problems in the field of construction.
