The organization, named Республиканский центр детской нефрологии и гемодиализа (Republican Center for Pediatric Nephrology and Hemodialysis), was established in 1978 as part of the 2-я городская детская клиническая больница (2nd City Children's Clinical Hospital) in Minsk, Belarus, under the initiative of Professor I.N.Usov. The center specializes in providing hemodialysis and specialized medical assistance for children with kidney and urinary system diseases. The center also offers stomatological help in 16 adult and 12 children's city clinics, in addition to centers for combustology, transplantation of kidneys, and others. The center is located at ul. Tарханова, 46, in the 2
